Dead Birds - a three-part prog rock song strongly reminiscent of the early days of Gion Stump & The Lighthouse Project. Mystical synthesizers meet overlapping bass loops and ethereal choirs. With its narrative strength, refined arrangement and closing apotheosis, the song is the perfect final harbinger of "A Penny for the Fool." 
 
The sonic polish of the song, reminiscent of Pink Floyd sounds, was provided by Dave Hofmann (Leech, Egopusher) at Powerplay Studios and Randy Merrill at Sterling Sound (Beck, Paul McCartney, Adele).
